This December, Country Club Barber Shop in Rancho Bernardo partnered with Streets of Hope San Diego to bring a little extra joy to families in need. Through our 2024 Holiday Toy Drive, our chairs became more than just places for fresh fades—they became a hub for giving, community, and real impact.
Giving Back Where It Counts
San Diego is a city built on heart. And Streets of Hope, a nonprofit organization serving homeless and low-income families across our region, lives that spirit every day. We were honored to join their mission this season and use our space to collect new, unwrapped toys for local kids who might otherwise go without.
Over the course of the drive, the people of Rancho Bernardo, Poway, 4S Ranch, and beyond came through in a big way. Clients dropped off gifts. Families walked in with bags of toys. Kids even brought toys for other kids. It was a reminder that when this community shows up, it shows up strong.
More Than a Barbershop
Country Club Barber Shop has always been about more than just clean cuts. We’re about connection. Whether it’s a conversation in the chair, a nod of respect, or a shared mission like this one—what happens inside the shop ripples outward. Partnering with Streets of Hope gave us a way to channel that energy into something that truly mattered this holiday season.

The toys collected were distributed by Streets of Hope to children in need throughout San Diego. From action figures and art kits to puzzles and dolls, every single donation became a symbol of care—and hope. It wasn’t about how big or expensive the gift was. It was about showing that someone was thinking of them.
